I have read that you should harden off your transplants before shocking them into reality.
I admit, I am behind a little. The weather has been a bit crazy lately and I haven’t felt confident that the plants would be okay with such unstable weather.
At the beginning of the week, I started by sitting my tomato plants outside for a couple of hours and steadily increased that time over a weeks time. By the en d of the week, I was able to leave them outside all night long! I must say, the definitely required a lot more water than they did when they were inside snuggled under their grow light. Next up, getting them in the ground!
