Welcome to The Organic Heir! My name is Ruth and I am the founder and creator of this website! I have always been interested in all things natural and as a kid I loved Captain Planet and I even had my own Earth Club (which none of my friends attended by the way). Fast forward to today, in September 2014, my husband and I bought a wonderful ranch home in North Texas. We have just over 2 acres of land and we were ready to graduate from container gardening to the real deal.
I started this website as way to document our journey into organic gardening. I was searching for a neat and tidy way to organize the who, what, where, when, and how much of what happens of the gardening process. It’s a never ending labor of love after all!
A blog is the perfect place to store and organize all of this information! I can place posts into neat categories with dates and photographs! And, I can always look back and track my progress and see what worked and what didn’t! How awesome!
